Information Architecture
Based on insights from comparable audits and stakeholder interviews, the sitemap was designed to ensure key content—such as IFU's info, project and research results, and impact—is clear and accessible. The structure helps different audiences, including donors, scholars, and volunteers, quickly find relevant information.

Organizing Information
IFU has done great work, but much of it wasn’t well-organized online. The main challenge was to structure everything clearly and professionally.
After looking at similar nonprofit websites, I worked with department leads to outline the site’s framework and decide on key content. To make the site more complete, I also added extra elements to enhance its professionalism.
This process helped shape a stronger website and gave me hands-on experience in presenting academic research effectively.
Below are the screenshots of the content list spreadsheets (links attached in the appendix).

Visual Design
The design keeps things clean and professional while using modern layouts and bright accents to reflect the team’s energy.
On laptops, the focus is on organizing content clearly for scholars who need detailed information. On mobile, the layout is simpler, making it easy for entrepreneurs to quickly grasp key points during meetings.

Bringing It to Life
Below is the lofi wireframes & the prototype designed in Figma, which helped refine the layout and interactions. The site was then built using Wix and is now live at ifuimpact.org.
